The Australian Camp Connect Association is ALL about Dads & Kids. We are committed to helping ensure that the relationship that fathers [or significant males] have with the children in their life is one based on 'engagement', active participation, fullfillment, trust, respect, love and of course ... some serious fun!

Camp Connect is for ALL fathers, whether you are married, separated, single, divorced, repartnered, stepfather or a godfather. You may be an uncle or just someone who finds themselves with a special child in your life ... it doesn't matter. The only thing that does matter is that you you want to make a long-term positive difference to the child[ren] in your life!

We are a Not For Profit Incorporated Association, based in Victoria that was founded for the following purposes;

To run programs that will provide life impacting positive outcomes for ALL fathers [ or significant males ] and their children.
Where there has been family breakdown, to re-establish the vital bonding between these fathers and their children.
Through education, affirm and empower fathers of the vital role they have to play in raising their children.
To educate fathers of the significant impact that they can make on child development outcomes and provide them with the necessary parenting skills that will enable them to produce positive long-long term development outcomes with their children.
To empower fathers with practical & creative tools to be able to communicate, interact and play with their children at different levels.
To facilitate children connecting with their fathers at a deeper level and improve in their level of communication, confidence and self esteem.
Camp Connect is founded on serious life strategies - through specialist programs that are realized in a camp environment. Camp Connect provides an opportunity to bring dads and kids together to connect - in a unique way… by having serious fun.

How does it work? That's easy - just grab the kids, your sleeping bag, torch... and enjoy!

Yoga Babes is about enjoying your changing body and family – giving you the mental and physical tools so you can adjust with as much ease as possible to enjoy, love and nurture your baby and yourself. Choose from:

An Australian support site for parents & families of premature babies. You will find useful links to all things for premature babies including clothing stores, support sites, birth stories, galleries, personal blogs, journeys through the NICU & much more.

Birthing Sense has produced a 3x DVD Series that makes sense of your pregnancy, birth and early parenting experience.

Leanne became frustrated with the number of new parents who were unable to attend regular prenatal education sessions, or attended a one-off ante-natal class.

Mother of 2 and a member of Australian Breastfeeding Association for 10years, Leanne has been the primary producer, photographer and editor for a Project that brings all of the professionals to you.

She has gathered informative interviews from independent Midwives, Early Childhood Nurses, Doctors, a Naturopath, Dietician, Physiotherapist, Yoga Instructor, Genetic Counsellor, Massage therapist, Veterinary assistant and Parents to offer their suggestions about Pregnancy, Birth and Parenting over 3 DVDs to give new parents the opportunity to have a birth class in their own home, in their own time, and with as many support people as they choose- and to revisit the education as many times as they feel they need to.

Through the sale of the Birthing Sense Birth Education Series, Leanne has had a vision to help support you through ABA, as well as many of the young fistula women in third world countries.

A great site with lots of information on being a Dad. Very much focused on stay-at-home Dads, but the information on there is relevant to any Dad.

Relatively new, but building up resources and members quickly.

They also have forums and blogs for stay-at-home Dads.

This is a community and support site, for people interested in going the cloth nappy route, or those stay-at-home parents involved in cloth nappy businesses.

An Australian baby directory - a comprehensive listing of Australian baby resources. They also have a forum, a baby name section and an articles section - although many of the articles seem related to advertisers products.

A little heavy on the advertising, but a good directory for Aussie parents!

A terrific blog written by a dad to his son as a series of letters. Very well written and very touching. Good to see a Dad letting his feelings show!

The author, Bruce Robinson is an interesting guy. A medical doctor, a teacher, a football coach amongst many other things, with a family. He has some good insights into making time to be a Dad with a very busy lifestyle, in his book "Fathering from the Fast Lane"

These guys seem to have a pretty good range of quality baby products. The focus is on natural organic products, which is never a bad option! They have some good videos - the "Being Dad" one is not bad... although the beer ads get to be a bit much! They even have a range of "Fathers to B" focused products.
